Texture Art Class
Yesterday was an entire day of painting with texture--we mixed sand into our paint and had a great time. We also added fiber, wire and beads after the base picture was in place. It was an interesting day. We twisted the wire and fiber using a drill! The work is still drying and I will post a picture of it when I can take one in the afternoon light. I love learning new techniques and enjoy sharing them with others.

Yesterday I attended a bead and gem show in Denver and I cannot begin to tell you how much fun it was . . . sparkly stuff everywhere!!! This room was larger than a football field and there were tables and tables of beads from all over the world. I bought some beautiful treasures and I cannot wait to start creating. I will let you know when I have some pictures ready for viewing.
In the meantime, I've been learning some new wire techniques and I will be posting those soon. Lovely work with copper wire and silver wire. You will LOVE it!
