More Stocking Stuffers!!

The Unique Women in Business has so many wonderful ideas for the holidays.  Don't miss out on a single opportunity to browse their respective shops.  I have been ordering and perusing again today.  Now just wait until you see what I found!!

Kristen Stein Fine Art has some tremendous pieces of work she has made into various treasures.  I love to pick up her calenders when she has them in stock, but check out these great mirrors, what a special treat to slip in the stocking.
Fine Art Mirror
I have some of Kristen's work in my home and I receive so many comments when I have visitors.  Stop by her shop to see what other talents she displays.

I stopped by Grandma's Craft Garden and  fell in love with these candy cane dish towels (hey, I grew up calling them tea towels, anyone else??).  You can have their name on the towels!  How cool is that??
Dish Towels
Whether it is a new home or a more established one, we all need fresh tea towels.  Heh, heh, heh, worked that in now, didn't I??

Oh, I mustn't leave out all our little pets, especially since I have four grandcats, one granddog, and one grandbird; no, you didn't see any human babies mentioned here, but what's a momma to say?  Oh, I digress, anyway, I stopped by Rendachs Chilly Paws and found these:
Fish Bones Catnip Toy
Now won't I be the absolute BEST grandma if I stick some of these in the stockings.  At least the cats will like me!!!

Never, never, never let a stocking slip by without some jewelry stashed in the bottom!!  It is a must!

Love these pretty citrine earrings from Delicate Adornments and citrine is supposed to bring wealth.  I've often thought of sleeping with some.
Citrine Earrings
Audrey Garden Lady has some amazing finds, but I'm drawn to these amethyst earrings.  Amethyst helps with so many things, but one thing is to help with sleep; hmmmm, now I need to add some of this to my bed!
Amethyst Earrings
So lovely and they would fit perfectly into those HUGE stockings you bought thinking they were so pretty.  Really, they seem to grow as you keep sticking goodies in them.

Naughty and Nice got me sidetracked on my trek to filling my stockings . . . but I did think these lingerie bags would be a nice item for the stockings.  I have a couple and use them so much.

Okay, I think I may be finished for the evening, my selfish and curious side is heading back to the Naughty and Nice shop to peruse a little more!

Cyber Monday Specials from the Unique Women in Business Group

The Unique Women in Business group is a worldwide group of women supporting other women in business.  We teach each other, support each other, cry together over losses and failures, and we celebrate together our wins and achievements.  This group not only has a special website with items to help you make your holiday purchases called My Unique Gift Guide, but now we have a special event scheduled for Cyber Monday!!

We have put together a special treasury featuring all UWIB shoppes offering a 10% discount to all shoppers.  The coupon code to use is UWIBTEAM10 in any of these shops.  Now, don't think you need to just stick with the item featured in the shop--spend some time going through these unique shops and find some awesome treasures to delight your friends and family.  Don't forget to use the code for any of your purchases!  Now here is the link to the treasury:  UWIB Cyber Monday Treasury.

I spent a little time perusing their shops to come up with some great items for my list of needs.  Let's shop together!!

Let's stop first at the HandmadeBits4U shop for my absolute favorite purchase this year.  I'm picking these up for all of my family.  It is the greatest find and I use it so often.
Microwave Bowl PotHolder
Now let's go to ShantiAromatherapy for some good smells and aromas!!  Ahhhhh!!  So nice.  One of my friends has started to feel the wonderful side effects of menopause and is constantly having hot flashes.  So, guess what I'm picking up for her stocking??
Hot Flash!
RobinMariePedrero Arts is a mainstay in my shopping round.  Her artwork is so colorful and happy!  I think everyone needs a piece in their home.   With 10% off, how can you possibly go wrong??  She even makes cards, iphone skins, fine art bags, etc.  But this piece is calling me and I have the perfect recipient in mind.
Mariposa Butterfly in the Morning Light
JMJ Creations is a wonderful jewelry shop for the feminine woman in your life.  Everything she creates is so delicate and special.  I know, I know, I make jewelry, but come on--we all create different styles and I love to own hers.  So this holiday season will be a perfect time to get some of these special rings for my daughters, for myself, for my friends, for myself, for my cousins, for myself, oh you get the picture.
Amethyst Crystal Ring
Crazy for Collars has such special items for pets.  I personally own many of her collars, harnesses, and these adorable tags.  My little fur babies each have one on their collar with all the important info.   Now I think I will get some for gifts for my brother's dog, my mother's dog, hmmm, who else needs one??  Doesn't have to be for a dog does it?  How about a back pack tag for the kid's school pack?  They come in hearts as well.
Engraved Dog Tags
Honey From the Bee has some awesome nature inspired pieces in her shop.  I have selected this gorgeous piece because she actually made the pendant herself as well as the ribbon tips.  She is such an artist!
Gingko Leaf with Opal Silver Pendant
Vintage Day has a plethora of vintage items in her shop.  My daughter, Shilo, loves vintage and I know I will be able to find some great stocking stuffers in this shop.  I found this awesome piece that my imagination is tweaking into a great bridal piece, hmmmmm.
Pink Floral Barrett
Aquarian Bath is full of luscious finds.  You can just imagine the smells as you click through these pictures.  I love her flax seed pillows and plan to pick up a couple for gifts again this year.  They do come in different colors and they feel so wonderful, especially when heated.
Lavender Flax Neck Pillow
SerebaDesigns has some special and totally unique pieces in her shop.  She has a special knitted bracelet that is even being published in an upcoming book.  We anxiously await the book.  In the meantime, I found some super soft hand knit scarves for the cold winter ahead.
Lavender Pink Scarf

PreciousDesirables offers a variety of hand painted items, candles, glasses, and other fun items.  I have selected this gorgeous light switch plate cover as a gift for a friend in a new home.  I think it will add some lovely flowers to the room each time she turns on the light.
Rose Design Light Switch
ChicArtistique has some intricate pieces of jewelry in her shop.  What a fun to see how other artists create such special pieces with wire and crystals.  I absolutely love this necklace and I know it takes a true artist to make it so spectacular.  I can't wait to give this as a gift.  And she has reduced the price!!!
Tree of Life Pendant Necklace
EarthExpressions creates a variety of zen and nature inspired items.  She has handmade soaps and some awesome polymer clay pieces.  Here's a unique piece that is fashioned in the technique called Mokume Gane.  I am so intrigued that I must get one of these.
Chameleon Abstract Pendant
CapeCodJewelry fashions her pieces with visions from the sea.  It all has such a strong current to it that you can actually hear the sea gulls overhead as you shop in her boutique.  I am torn in many directions, but think this bracelet may be the perfect gift for the next person on my list.
Cape Cod Style Seashell Bracelet
Last, but not least, let's check out my shop, Momma Goddess, I have been experimenting with silk and colors.  Check out my silk scarves for the perfect gift for that hard to buy for woman.  I can make shawls or ponchos as well.
Great Barrier Reef

Garden City Art in the Park

I have been selected to show at the Art in the Park event in Garden City, Kansas again this year.  I hope to see many of my past customers as well as meeting many new ones.  I have a few new items to unveil this next Saturday, so hopefully, it will be a success.  Here's a sneak peak at a couple items:

African Opals
This one is similar to a necklace I posted in my shop, but it lasted a day and was gone, so I created another one in the same vein.  This pendant is gorgeous with an aquamarine stone that coordinates well with the African Opals.
Hot Pink & Black, Oh My!
Hot pink and black always look HOT HOT HOT together and I've created a few different pieces to set your little mouths drooling--don't miss out.

Gorgeous Silver Heart
Yes, there will be earrings to match, but hurry, I didn't make many.  I don't want you girls walking around looking alike--every piece is unique.

I will also have an entire selection of $5 earrings, first come first served.  They will be worth it, so do stop by.

There will be an abundance of rich Fall colors available as well as plenty of Bling for the holidays!

Let me know you saw this and I will give you a special gift.  See you Saturday!!

Spring Weddings!

Spring is here and those brides are working hard to get ready for the upcoming wedding season.  I am busy trying to keep up with those eager brides.  Let me share some of the latest trending and pieces I am creating.

Black Onyx with Teals
Teal is a popular color this season; and I have one bride that wants it combined with black and ivory.  Here is one necklace I made for her review, which features a large black onyx focal piece and ivory with teal pearls.  I am still waiting for her decision.  We will see if she wants changes or likes it the way it is.
Matching earrings

Here are the earrings she requested to match the necklace.

Next the brides are all about flowers in their pieces.  This necklace is one of the most popular and are made with a variety of changes to match the wedding theme.
Going to the Chapel
I am currently making this one with dusty rose pearls and cream roses.  I will be sure to post a picture when they are finished.

Pretty Pretty Princess

Okay, no one has requested this one, but I made it up when I got a wild hair and thought it turned out so precious.  Let me know what you think.  You know the brides always want something that no one else has--ha! I know this will fit the bill.

What about the earrings??  Some are looking for the vintage estate style, while others want something just pretty to match their colors.

Now to end this little piece I want to share with you my pièce de résistance.  I worked on this one for quite some time and I think it turned out great!

Crystal & Pearl Necklace
I absolutely love a challenge and am thrilled when a bride shares her dress pictures with me and I am able to create the jewelry she envisions.  I always request finished pictures from the special day and will share those with you as I receive them.

October Bride

I love to make pretty things for the brides and their wedding party.  So often, though, I don't get to see the finished product in action.  I made six sets of the Tara Necklace in Bronze and they ended up so lovely.
Getting ready to ship!
I believe her wedding was on the ever popular 10/10/10 date and she chose espresso dresses and these bronze sets.

I received a picture of the beautiful bride with her fair maidens surrounding her.  What a treat to see the final culmination of all her choices.
Jess and her bridesmaids

The bouquets, the dresses, and the jewelry all tie together so well for an Autumn celebration!  Thanks for sharing your day with us, Jess!!

Momma Goddess Trunk Show

My cousin, Cindy Baker, offered to have a trunk show for me in her home in Kingman, Kansas.  She has two sisters, Julie and Zella; as well as a sister-in-law, Connie; not counting her daughter, Brittney, and her niece, Clara; and all of them sent invitations to their friends for this trunk show.  A total of 90 people were invited.  Wow!!

We made the drive from Greeley, Colorado to Kingman, Kansas; which is about 9 hours of drive time.  My mom and husband with our three dogs have become great travelers!  Anyway, here's a few pictures of the setup in her awesome home.

Those Kansas ladies came ready to shop!  We had a steady crowd and I met the most wonderful people.

Cindy was an awesome hostess, preparing soups and snacks for the visitors, and kept us hydrated throughout the day.

All in all, it was one of the best experiences I have had and I want to thank Cindy again for the successful first trunk show for Momma Goddess Treasures!

The Big Day!!!

We made it all the way to the big day!  Here's a few shots to show how it all came together.

Beautiful day in the mountains with pretty maids all in a row.

Lovely shot of bridesmaid in the limo!

Smile for the camera!

It is truly a rewarding experience to see how your hard work ends up on the special day!!

UWIB Promotion has Started

I belong to a group of entrepreneurs called Unique Women in Business.  We support each other and educate each other.  The women are located all over the world as well as the United States.

As a method to allow more people to have a glimpse into our various shops we have started an exceptional promotion which involves adding a little treasure from some of the UWIB shops when we ship out an order.  The promotion items are so adorable and fun that I wanted to let you know about some of the shops involved in this venture.

Our organizer for this promo is from BKD Signature with some great little 'face scrubbies' for you to sample.

Her shop is having a HUGE Etsyversary Sale with 30% off many items.  Here is a sampling of just one of her sale pendants.

I love the colors in this glorious pendant and can envision it with a black ribbon tied up close choker style.

The price is right at $5.60 . . . just think of the possibilities!

Next up is Kristen Stein Fine Arts with a compact little note pad which is purse tuck-able AND a piece of her artwork reduced in size and placed in a metal framed pendant.  Wow!  That's a treasure to hang on to.  I personally have a piece of her work and it is a wonderful addition to my art collection.

Watch closely for her work on some of your favorite shows on TV.  This one is "Spirit of Autumn Fire" and my personal favorite.  As seen on SyFy Channel's Warehouse 13.

You can grab this one up for a mere $32.00 and I don't know where you will find a better value for your walls!!

Check out her shop for more of her items.  Watch for her name in many art venues -- Kristen Stein Fine Arts.

Ohhhhh, now let's wander off into the world of Magick!!

One of our newest members is Deborah's Candle Magick and she has given some great little tins with her pure soy candles inside.  The smells emanating from this batch is astonishing.  I can imagine how luxurious you will feel with one of these on your candle warmer, a nice hot cup of tea and a huge book to relax you.

Deborah offers many unique and interesting items and I found these "Witches Brew" candles in her shop for
2 for $20 and each one burns 55-60 HOURS!!
That calculates out to 16 cents an hour for a yummy atmosphere.

KLE Designs has included great little hair pins with a decorative attachment.  Her shop has a great variety of treasures for you to peruse. One of my favorites is the "Cake and Pie Server" with the blue glass beads and copper wire wrapping for only $20.  Imagine using this at your next special function!    She also has an antique tomato server that is truly a find for you collectors.

Aquarian Bath has included some delicious slices of her handmade soaps and some of them smell good enough to eat!!

I have some of her "Bay Rum" lip balm and it is wonderful!  She carries it in her shop for $3.50 and comes in a size that is much larger than the brand name balms you buy at the store.  Give her a shop a visit.

Design Knit Fun has included some very stylish wrist adornments that she made specifically for this little promo.  A great variety of colors and textures abound in this grab bag of fun!

Check out her shop for a variety of hand knit specialties.  I found this appropriately named red "Valentine Cowl" that will add some unique interest to your wardrobe for only $20.  Just look at the myriad of colors within this red yarn!

Wabi Brook Studio has included some handy little magnets with varying images of some beloved animals that will comfort the soul when you pick up that grocery list--or maybe remind you to purchase some pet food perhaps.  Either way, they are cute and will make you smile! She is truly an artist as the  ACEO testifies and it is available for $4.00.  Now who does this little West Highland Terrier remind you of . . .

Oh, and what about me? Momma Goddess Treasures --  I made some little ribbon bookmarks to introduce people to my shop.  They were fun to make and I hope the customers who receive them will get some use and enjoyment out of them.

At least as much fun as I did making them.
So, that's the promotion from Unique Women in Business this month; each purchase you make from one of the above mentioned shops will have a cute little surprise tucked into the box.  What a great idea for our women to get their names into more prospective customer's hands.  I hope you benefit from this promo!
